A key element of our Quality Assurance program is our emphasis on dimensional certification.
Our Engineering department identifies features which are dimensionally or functionally significant at the onset
of a project. These features are flagged as "critical characteristics" and maintained throughout the project.
These critical characteristics are discussed during the design review meetings, and revisited when determining
our manufacturing process. All personnel are aware of the "critical characteristics" throughout production and
perform the appropriate in-process checks as components enter and exit each work center.
At the end of each project, and prior to shipment, all critical characteristics are verified
against the initial design specifications. Wherever possible, G.H. Tool & Mold runs samples (including wax shots)
of the die to validate the tooling produced. We partner on-site with our customers through PPAP and new product
launch, where feasible.
