Ease of assembly and maintenance, interchangeability and replacement of high wear components, and end-user ergonomics are all considered when designing simple jigs or more complex fixtures. Many of our jigs and fixtures incorporate the Six-Sigma strategy of poka yoke (mistake proofing), an important requirement for ensuring that it is not possible to produce incorrect parts.
