TOTAL QUALITY

A key element of our Quality Assurance program is our emphasis on dimensional certification. It begins when our Engineering department identifies the casting features which are dimensionally or functionally significant at the onset of a project. These features are flagged as "critical characteristics" and all components and processes used to create that feature are also flagged.

These critical characteristics are considered by our process planning team when determining our manufacturing process. All personnel are aware of the critical dimensions throughout production and perform the appropriate in-process checks as components enter and exit each work center.

As a final verification, our QA department generates documentation showing the critical characteristic targets and the actual results.

G.H. Tool & Mold can also provide a 100% inspection model showing the dimensional accuracy of each surface in the component.
